Since the tires that came on my car were 10 years old, the first on the mod list was to replace them.

Went with Falken RT615K+ in a 275/40/17 for the fronts and 315/30/18 for the rear. My game plan is run on these for a year or two, and then street use. And then pick up a track setup in 18 square for slicks.

My first track day this year is on Saturday. Pretty excited!

What’s scary is they aren’t even original. 2004 with 2007 tires... I’m guessing the stock run flats were too hard, so they got replaced at some point and then left alone.

The C5 Z06 has grown on me immensely, especially the side profile, hope to add one to the garage one day.

I just got new tires as well, went with the new Continental ExtremeContact Sports for my M3. I haven’t driven on them yet since the car is stuck in the shop wait for camber plates to arrive.

Very excited for you. Bring some brake fluid and bleeding equipment if you are there both days. Also don’t forget to turn the traction control off. Comp mode puts a lot of heat in the back and I took out a rear tie rod.
